Our Catholic chaplains support many people in the local community, showing Christ’s love though their care for others.

A Catholic chaplain is a religious or lay person who provides support, compassion and comfort to those in need, serving as a counsellor and messenger of Christ.

Our chaplains work closely with many diverse and vibrant multicultural communities, as well as in local hospitals and correctional centres; providing support to individuals, families and communities across Sydney’s west.

When life brings unexpected or overwhelming challenges, Catholic Care’s chaplains are only a phone call away.

Their ministry provides emotional and spiritual support throughout their journey.

No one shall ever walk alone.
