Blacktown (All Saints of Africa)
Our Blacktown (All Saints of Africa) centre is open Monday to Friday. Please call to organise a time to come and visit us.
Like all other non-for-profit organisations, we need volunteers. Opportunities exist in all our services.
For example, you could volunteer to visit an elderly person, be part of a receptionist team at one of our centres, or be part of a group that accompanies people with a disability and older people in the Blacktown area, to a social activity or on shopping trips.
From Penrith to Parramatta, we have centres, activities and groups across the region. At Catholic Care, you know there’s always a place for you.

On Mondays, I run a yarning circle, where everyone sits and talks about their day. We share stories, and people talk about what’s happening in their life – it’s a nice way for people to connect.
On Wednesdays, we have our sisterhood group for young mums. Back in the day, I coordinated didgeridoo lessons for young Aboriginal boys, as well as guitar lessons for boys and girls. We also have a financial counselling service for people struggling to pay their bills, and a grief counselling service. There’s support for everyone.
